Police pursuit ends in crash Wednesday night

UPDATE: Thursday Morning

Noah Click with the Tennessee Highway Patrol issued a brief description of an incident that occurred Wednesday night.

According to THP, the Carter County Sheriff’s Department was in pursuit of a 1998 Ford Mustang with two occupants, Dakota Marich and Rusty Odom, Wednesday night. The department received a call at 10:18 p.m. with injuries on Riverview Drive, where the pursuit ended in a wreck. Injuries were received during the incident. THP is leading the investigation. A full report from the crash is expected to be made available later this afternoon.
