Voters in Carter County will head to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots in a number of local, state and federal races.
If a voter is unsure of what district or precinct they are in, he or she can contact the Carter County Election Commission at 423-542-1822 or can check online by visiting the state Election Commission website at www.govotetn.com.
Here is where all of the polling places are located in Carter County broken down by the county’s eight districts.
FIRST DISTRICT
Hunter Precinct: voting at Hunter Elementary School, 145 Hope St.
Midway Precinct: voting at Buladeen Citizens Club, 2821 Highway 91.
Unaka Precinct: voting at Unaka Elementary School, 120 Unaka Drive.
SECOND DISTRICT
Roan Mountain Precinct: voting at Cloudland Elementary School, 8540 Highway 19E.
Tiger Valley Precinct: voting at Hampton High School, 766 First Ave.
THIRD DISTRICT
Central Precinct: voting at Central Elementary School, 252 Taylortown Road.
Keenburg Precinct: voting at Keenburg Elementary School, 139 Keenburg Road.
Range Precinct: voting at Fairview Baptist Church, 585 Watauga Road.
Watauga Precinct: voting at Watauga City Hall, 104 W. 4th Ave.
FOURTH DISTRICT
Courthouse Precinct: voting at Main Courthouse, 801 E. Elk Ave.
Eastside Precinct: voting at Eastside Elementary School, 800 Siam Road.
Siam Precinct: voting at Siam Consolidated Learning Center (LIFT Academy), 2453 Siam Road.
National Guard Armory Precinct: voting at the National Guard Armory, 128 Judge Don Lewis Blvd.
FIFTH DISTRICT
Happy Valley Precinct: voting at Happy Valley Elementary School, 1840 Milligan Highway.
SIXTH DISTRICT
Elk Mills Precinct: voting at Elk Mills Volunteer Fire Department, 107 Poga Road.
Little Milligan Precinct: voting at Little Milligan Elementary School, 4226 Highway 321.
