The Elizabethton Woman’s Club annual Christmas Craft Show is on tap for this weekend.
This marks the fifth year that the ElizabeWoman’s Club has held their special Christmas Craft Show. This year the event will be held on Friday, Nov. 11, and Saturday, Nov. 12, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day at the Parks and Recreation Center located at 300 W. Mill St.
Around 50 different crafters and artisans who create a wide variety of items in a number of different mediums will take part in this year’s sale. Among the types of crafts available at the show will be quilts, baby items, baskets, jewelry, stained glass, afghans, wood crafts, hand-painted items, home decor, Christmas decorations, and artwork.
Food will also be available for purchase at the event.
The Christmas Craft Show not only provides local crafters with a place to showcase and sell their work, the event also serves as a fundraiser for the Elizabethton Woman’s Club. To take part in the show, each vendor pays a fee for the space they rent. The Woman’s Club then uses that money to support their charitable work in the community, which includes assisting veterans, supporting cancer patients, and a variety of other local programs which serve local residents.
