Dr. Jeanette Clark celebrates anniversary at Browns Chapel

Browns Chapel AME Zion Church will celebrate Pastor Dr. Jeanette G. Clark’s pastoral anniversary June 10.
The Rev. Dr. Jeanette Clark is senior pastor at the Elizabethton church and serves under the leadership of the Presiding Elder Hawkins of the Bristol District. She also serves as the district treasurer and Dean of Conference Studies. She has also served as the Conference Director of Christian Education, Health Care Coordinator, and District Director of Lay Council and Christian Education.
The Rev. Clark was ordained in 1993 and has also pastored at Jonesborough, Harris, Anderson, and Robinson Memorial AME Zion Churches.
In addition to working as a disciple of God, she is a retired registered nurse. Academically, she has her Doctorate, Master’s and Bachelor of Science degree of Biblical Studies from New Life Bible College and Seminar. The Rev. Clark is the past founding president of the local Association of Rehabilitation Nurses and the past president of the Elizabethton Business & Professional Women’s Club.
The Rev. Clark has been married to her husband, Floyd H. Clark, for 42 years, and is the mother of two daughters, Tracey Eddington and Millicent Madison, and a son, Gary Clark, and his wife, Tammy. She has two grandsons, Ross Madison and Isaiah Clark, and one granddaughter, Kyndall Clark. She and her husband also have a great-grandson, Jaden Madison, and two special nephews, Jovan and Joshua Bass.
“We are very thankful and blessed to have the Rev. Dr. Clark as our pastor and appreciate her dedication and hard work and her being faithful to the calling of God,” a church spokesman said.
