Upper Gap Creek
The Rev. Dexter Brummitt will be guest speaker Sunday at the 11 a.m. worship service at Upper Gap Creek Free Will Baptist Church.

First United Methodist
“Give It Away Or Lose It” is the sermon topic for Sunday morning worship June 18 at First United Methodist Church of Elizabethton. The scripture text is Matt. 9: 35-10:8.
The worship service is at 9:55 a.m. followed by Sunday School at 11:20 a.m.
The Sunday evening Bible study will be at 6 p.m. in the church fellowship hall as will be the Wednesday evening Life Lessons.
The 4:12 Jr. and Sr. High Student Ministries will meet Sunday from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. in the 4:12 Ministries House. The Coolagers will meet Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Hut.

CCCMF meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday, June 20, at 7 p.m. at Blue Springs Christian Church.
The guest speaker will be Ernie Depew.
Following the worship and preaching service, there will be a time of fellowship.

First Christian
Michael Klaus, minister, will present the sermon Sunday at morning worship at First Christian Church of Elizabethton. His sermon will be from the sermon series “Sound Doctrine.”
Fathers of the church will be honored and the Father of the Year will be announced.
The service will begin at 9:45 a.m. and will feature scripture reading by John Smith, the communion meditation by Randy Brockley, and special music by Leslie Brockley.
Bible school classes will begin at 11 a.m.
There will be no evening service Sunday.
The Tuesday Morning Prayer Service will be at 10 a.m. with John Smith leading.
The men of the church will attend the Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Blue Springs Christian Church.
The Wednesday evening Bible study and prayer service is at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary. Minister Klaus will teach from the book of Colossians. Adult choir practice is at 7 p.m.

Valley Forge Christian
Vacation Bible School will be held at Valley Forge Christian Church Sunday through Thursday with classes from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The theme of the Bible school is “Escape Through Egypt,” with classes for children age three through high school.

Pleasant Beach
Pleasant Beach Baptist Church will honor Bud and Liz Street and Eston and Mary Shaffer with a reception at 6 p.m. Sunday for their service to the church and the Junior Sunday School Class.
They have served for over 45 years in ministry to the class. All former students are invited to attend.

Hopson Chapel
A benefit singing featuring the Sounds of Victory will be held Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Hopson Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
A love offering will be received to help with the medical expenses of Harold and Darlene Smith.

Church of Jesus
The Church of Jesus, 809 W. Main St., Johnson City, will host Connie Abner and Toshia Alexander for a two-night revival Saturday and Sunday.
The service Saturday begins at 7 p.m., and Sunday at 6 p.m.

Roan Street Free Will
Roan Street Free will Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School June 21-23 with classes each evening from 6:30 to 8:30.
The theme of the Bible school is “Over the Moat.” Classes will be available for ages three through 19.

Sinking Creek
Vacation Bible School at Sinking Creek Baptist Church is June 25-30 with classes daily from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The closing ceremonies will be at 10:50 a.m. in the sanctuary July 2 with refreshments and snacks to follow in the Christian Life Center.

East Side Christian
East Side Christian Church will have a Vacation Bible School Kids Camp Saturday, June 17, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The theme for the camp is “Follow Jesus.” Classes and activities will be available for children ages five to 12.
Lunch will be served and there will be crafts, games, and prizes as well as Bible stories and music.
