The Lady Warriors just couldn’t get anything going at the plate Thursday as the Lady Rebels slowly built their lead before taking a 6-0 conference win.

The Sullivan South found the scoreboard in the first inning as Lady Rebels McKenzie Compton scored on a throwing error at third base.

The game went on a scoring drought through the second and third innings with South posting two runs in the fourth. South’s Macy Ellis had an RBI single in the frame while her teammate MaKenzie Wallen scored on an error.

South posted two runs in the sixth before scoring a run in the top of the seventh.

For Happy Valley, Lady Warriors Calli Davis tossed the first four inning before teammate Abby Holt came in as relief midway through the fourth. Holt would finished the game with four strikeouts.
