The City of Elizabethton and Summer–Taylor will carry out a road resurfacing project on West G Street in Elizabethton beginning Monday, April 16, at 7 a.m. with the east and west bound lanes of Carter Boulevard and Mary Patton Highway being affected. There will be periodic lane closures which may cause traffic congestion and officials are asking motors to allow extra time for travel.
