Carter County teams set for Tiny Day Tournament

This Thursday will mark the start of the 2018 Tiny Day Softball Tournament in Greeneville.
And four teams from Carter County are set to take part in the action with Cloudland, Elizabethton Hampton, and Unaka all slated to participate.
On Friday at Hardin Park’s old field, Hampton will take on Claiborne County at 4 p.m. before facing Gatlinburg Pittman at 7:45. Elizabethton will play Cocke County at 6:30 at the Hardin Park’s new field before playing Greeneville at Legion Field at 9 p.m. Cloudland will play Greeneville at 4 p.m. before taking on Gatlinburg Pittman at 5:35 p.m. with both games being played at Legion Field.
Also on Friday, Unaka will play Morristown West at 5:15 at Henard field one, before facing David Crockett at 7:45 on Hal Henard field two.
On Saturday, Cloudland will play back-to-back games as they play Claiborne County at 10 a.m. and West Greene at 11:15 a.m. with both games being played at Hardin Park’s old field. Cloudland’s contest will be followed up by Unaka playing West Greene (12:30 p.m.) and Grainger County (1:45 p.m.), both at Hardin Park’s old field. Hampton will play South Greene at Hardin Park’s new field at 11:15 a.m. The Lady Cyclones will face Union County at 11:15 a.m. before playing Daniel Boone at 12:30 p.m, both games will be played at Legion Field.
With pool play out of the way, the tournament’s playoffs will begin on Sunday.
