The Lady Cyclones junior varsity had a busy day Wednesday.

‘Betsy competed in the Three Rivers Conference JV tournament which was held at the Elizabethton and Happy Valley fields.

Elizabethton finished the evening as runner-ups after dropping the championship game to Johnson County, 6-3. The Lady Cyclones finished the tournament with a 2-1 record.

“I thought overall we played really good,” said Elizabethton JV coach Abby Hensley. “The first two games we came out stronger than we did the last game. We still hung in there during the last game and we battled. So overall, I thought we did well.”

The 2018 Elizabethton JV consisted of Kaylen Shell, Kallista Deprimo, Taylor Greene, Marley Wagner, Hannah Edwards, Kira Dillard, Haley Fair, Hannah Williams, Baylee Creasy, Maggie Johnson, Emmagrace Wilson, Kailey Peters, Torrie Roberts and Lexie Holmes.
