The Elizabethton Cyclones will take on Stewart Co. (24-6) in the opening round of the TSSAA Class AA Baseball Tournament.

The game is set for 4 p.m. CST, 5 p.m. Elizabethton time.

Elizabethton (26-8) earned its state berth Friday evening as the Cyclones defeated Gibbs, 3-2, inside a packed Thomas Stadium. ‘Betsy has rolled through its postseason, so far, winning both the district and region titles.

Stewart Co. slipped past Sycamore, 5-4, Friday during their state sectional match up. Stewart fell to Forrest, 3-2, during the region finals.
