The Unaka Lady Rangers will take on Gibson Co. (24-10) in the opening round of the TSSAA Spring Fling Championships Tuesday.

The game is slated for 4 p.m. Murfreesboro time, 5 p.m. Stoney Creek time.

Gibson Co. topped Memphis Academy of Health Sciences 15-0 Friday during a state sectional contest. Gibson came into Friday’s game after falling to South Fulton, 12-2, in the region finals.

The Lady Rangers (28-12)  went untouched during their postseason road to the state tournament. Unaka topped Tellico Plains, 2-1, Saturday evening in a state sectional match up. The Lady Rangers win over Tellico came after Unaka defeated North Greene 2-1 in 13 innings during the Region 1-A Finals Friday evening.
