Each of Tennessee’s 33 Senatorial Districts elects two representatives — one Committee Man and one Committee Woman — to represent the District in the State Executive Committee, which serves as the ruling body of the Tennessee Republican Party.

Buckles represents Tennessee’s 4th District which includes a portion of Carter, Johnson, and Sullivan Counties.

In addition to her service as an Executive Committee Woman, Buckles also serves as President of the Tennessee Federation of Republican Women, and the Finance Chair for the National Federation of Republican Women. The Tennessee Republican Party also sent Buckles as one of its delegates to its last National Convention which elected Donald Trump as President of the United States.

Members of the Carter County Republican Party recognized Buckles for her achievement during the group’s meeting Tuesday evening.
