A new business is on its way to Elizabethton.

The City Planning and Economic Development Office recently confirmed to the Elizabethton Star that Advance Financial is currently constructing a building on West Elk Avenue, beside Pal’s. According to information from the business, Advance Financial was founded in 1996 and is a “leading multi-state fintech company” based in Nashville that offers various check cashing and loan opportunities to patrons. The company has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau and was named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in the country for the sixth year in a row.
