The Lady Cyclones are clicking at the right time.

After topping Happy Valley in the opening round, the Lady Cyclones upset Sullivan Central 53-34 in the District 1-A Tournament Semifinals Saturday night.

The win earned the Lady Cyclones a spot at the championship which was played Monday night against Sullivan South.

Elizabethton’s Kaitlin Bailey led the way with 25 points while her teammate Morgan Headrick followed up with nine points.

In boys action, Elizabethton rolled past Unicoi 55-38 to earn a spot at the championship game against Johnson County Tuesday night.

The Cyclones were led by Evan Perkins who had 15 points while Bryson Rollins had 10.
