The Rangers kept their postseason run alive Saturday night.
In the Region 1-A opener, Unaka traveled to Jellico and knocked off the Blue Devils, 56-49.
The win advanced the Rangers onto the region semifinals Wednesday inside Sullivan North High School. The Rangers will take on University High, which topped Greenback, 79-55, Saturday evening.
During the Rangers’ win Saturday, Unaka’s Isaac Hill and Ryan Johnson each recorded 18 points each. Johnson scored all his point off six 3-pointers. Rangers John “Boy” Ramsey also reached double-digits as he scored 14.
Unaka’s Will Sexton and Austin Drew had four and two points, respectively.
