After taking a 5-1 lead, the Bulldogs couldn’t hold on as South Greene posted five runs in the final three innings to take a 6-5 win at Scotty Bunton Field.
For the Bulldogs, both Josh Owens and Hunter Haynes each had two hits each with Owen collecting two RBIs on the day. Haynes finished with one. Landen Street and Caleb Oaks both also had an RBI each.
The Bulldogs worked through five pitchers Monday with Parker Henry getting the start. Henry worked two frames and had an earned run against him. Henry struck out two batters during his time on the mound.
Devin Riddle, Caleb Oaks, Morgan Lyons, and Caleb Royston all also saw time pitching Monday.
