Thursday evening was a special evening for the Elizabethton Cyclone soccer team as they honored eleven of their senior players for their contribution to the soccer program at the school.
The eleven seniors to date have completed one of the best records in Cyclones soccer history with an overall record of 11-2-1 going into Friday night’s contest with Hampton.
During four years of play, the senior members have achieved a record of 43-21-3 and their teams have scored 256 goals while allowing their opponents 107.
In the current season, the team has scored 47 goals and gave up only 12 with the district tournament right around the corner beginning on Tuesday at home with a 7:30 pm start.
