FROM STAFF REPORTS
The Jr. Lady Cyclone volleyball team participated in a tournament at East Tennessee State last weekend and dropped a heartbreaker to fellow Big 6 Conference foe Greeneville in the tournament.

Fast forward ahead to Thursday night and the to say the Jr. Cyclones gave the Jr. Lady Green Devils a taste of their own medicine would be an understatement as the girls from TAD took the match in two games taking game one 26-24 and then sealing the win with a 25-20 win in game two.

Assistant head coach Crystal VanHuss said that it would have been hard to give anyone an MVP award for the night as all six girls that took the floor played exceptionally well with a lot of good serves coming in both games.

Another strong part was the defensive play of the Jr. Lady Cyclones who were taking turns digging or getting good blocks at the net.

The team took a tough loss to Liberty Bell earlier in the week but are looking forward to getting a measure of revenge when the Lady Patriots visit TAD in the near future.
