Lady Cyclones dominate Unicoi Co. in three-set sweep

The Elizabethton Lady Cyclone volleyball team is on a mission this week and that mission started on Monday night in Unicoi County as the Lady Cyclones handled the Lady Blue Devils with relative ease in a match that lasted only an hour and 25 minutes as EHS ran their season record to 17-12 with a 25-11, 25-19, and 25-20 win.
 
Kaitlin Bailey had 12 kills and Morgan Smith added 11 to go along with 13 defensive digs to lead the way for Elizabethton. 
 
Hannah Boster and Brittany Kitchens chipped in with six kills with Kitchens adding 12 digs as well. Whitley Maupin also played solidly with four kills and 11 digs in the contest.
 
The Lady Cyclones have two huge conference games this week as they travel to South and Central looking to take over possession of first place in the conference as the season begins to wind down.
