Lady Cyclones cooled off by Lady ‘Toppers in volleyball action

The Elizabethton Lady Cyclones have been playing fantastic volleyball as of late but on Wednesday evening at Science Hill, the Lady Hilltoppers clipped the Lady Cyclones wings just a little with a three-set sweep by the score of 17-25, 16-25, and 17-25 as ‘Betsy just couldn’t get any footing against S-H.
With the scores being what they were, there weren’t any big standout stats for the Lady Cyclones as Morgan Smith, Hannah Boster, and Whitley Maupin led with six kills for Smith and five kills each for Maupin and Boster.
Deanna Hull collected 15 defensive digs to pace Coach Leslee Bradley’s squad with Maupin adding nine.
Elizabethton fell to 20-14-0 for the season.
