Lady Jr. Bulldogs go 1-2 in Tiger Invitational tournament

The Hampton Jr. Lady Bulldogs recently competed in the 2019 Tiger Invitational at Blountville where they finished the tournament with a 1-2 overall record.
In the opening game, the Jr. Lady ‘Dogs took down Colonial Heights. The second game was a little tougher as the Cloudland Lady Jr. Highlanders defeated Hampton.
In that game, Taylor Berry scored nine points to lead her team while Macy Henry (3), Lindsey Hardin (2), and Cloe Hicks (1) completed the scoring for Hampton.
The Jr. Lady Bulldogs wrapped up the tournament in a tough loss to Holston. Taylor Berry led in scoring on the night with five points while Lacey Smith added four points. Piper Helle and Gracie Ballard contributed three points each while Lindsey Hardin finished with two points.
Hampton opened up their regular season Monday in Unicoi County.
