Annual Elizabethton Christmas Parade draws large crowd to downtown

A large crowd gathered Saturday evening on Elk Avenue in downtown Elizabethton either as spectators or parade participants as the annual Christmas parade took place.
With several floats and bands on hand, the evening set a festive mood for the upcoming Christmas holiday as even Santa Claus himself took the time to make his way from the North Pole to close out the parade riding on an Elizabethton fire truck.
