Jr. ‘Dogs tree Tigers, 48-11

The Hampton Jr. Bulldogs showed little rust in coming back from the Christmas break by taking care of the Hunter Tigers by a 48-11 score on Monday evening.
Eight Hampton players reached the scoring column in the contest led by post player Hayden Campbell who totaled 11 points in the win. Dylan Trivett chipped in with eight points while Elijah McKinney and Chance Point finished with seven points each.
Marcus Shomaker scored four points to pace the Tigers while Mason Wilson added three.
Boys Junior Varsity

After a slow start in the first half that saw Hunter take a low-scoring 11-7 lead into the intermission, the Hampton JV ‘Dogs turned up the offensive juices in the second half while throwing on a smothering defense to hold the Tigers to only four second-half points to take the win.
Coach Joy Gardner got eight points each from Tyler Blevins and Troy Berry to led the ‘Dog charge. Domnique Burleson added seven points in the win.
Brynin Repass paced the JV Tigers with six points while Elijah Stines netted five points.
Girls Varsity

The Hampton Lady ‘Dogs rode the coattails of Taylor Berry who fired in 20 points to the 11-point win over the Lady Tigers of Hunter.
Hampton also received seven points from Macy Henry and six points from Piper Helle. Lacey Smith and Gracie Ballard knocked down four points apiece in the victory.
