Bulldogs clamp down on University School

The Hampton Bulldogs continue to play impressive basketball on both the girls and boys side as Hampton collected two wins over the Bucs of University School on Tuesday evening.

It was all Lady Bulldogs in this contest as Hampton regrouped after a scoreless first quarter to win going away by 27 points.
Macy Henry and Gracie Ballard led the Lady ‘Dogs with eight points apiece in the win. Brooklyn Adams totaled four points while Ella Eastep added three points.
Taylor Berry, Piper Helle, Lindsay Hardin, and Lacey Smith each contributed with two points each.
Adams led the Lady Bulldogs with five rebounds while Faye Carrico, Eastep, and Henry each pulled down four boards.
Defensively, Berry and Helle picked the pockets of the Lady Bucs five times while Hardin had three rejections.

The Bucs just didn’t have an answer for Hampton post player Hayden Campbell who scored half of Hampton’s output finishing the contest with 24 points.
Dylan Trivett tossed in 11 points in the ‘Dogs victory while Michael Anspaugh and Elijah McKinney finished with five and four points respectively.
Dominique Burleson chipped in with two points.
Hampton had 22 total rebounds in the contest as Trivett was the chairman of the boards with eight rebounds followed by Campbell’s seven.
Trivett capped off a solid all-around game by recording seven assists, five steals, and one blocked shot. Anspaugh picked the pocket of the Bucs to the tune of seven steals while doling out three assists.
Cooper Stevenson scored 12 points to lead University School. Braydon Williams totaled eight points while Andrew Cole dropped in seven.
