Thomas claims East Region wrestling title

Elizabethton Cyclone wrestler grappler Tyesha Thomas had one thing in mind and one thing only when she went to the individual East Regional wrestling tournament for girls on Saturday and that was to take the region title.
Thomas indeed walked away as the regional champ in the 123-pound weight class earning her a berth at the state championship.
The Cyclone wrestler not only claimed the title but was selected as the outstanding wrestler at the meet for the East Regional as well.
