FROM STAFF REPORTS
Dylan Trivett and Hayden Campbell of Hampton Middle thought that their eighth grade basketball season was over when they returned from the state TSMAA basketball tournament.

However, in a few days after returning, both Jr. Bulldogs found out they were invited to participate in an All-Star game in Knoxville along with others from Northeast Tennessee.

Trivett and Campbell will take to the court on Friday, February 28th at 7:45 pm at St. Joseph School in Knoxville.

They will be playing for the East in the Rocky Top Border.

The event will feature music/spotlight introductions, dance with a half time performance and cheerleaders. Each player will receive an All Star medal and shirt and the game will be sure to provide lots of entertaining basketball.

Joining Trivett and Campbell on the East team will be Charlie McHugh of Sevier, Joah Shay from Liberty Bell, Nigel Vidale of Robinson, Eastridge’s Kyle Cloninger and BJ Hubbard, Church Hill’s Tucker McClain, and AJ Murphy of University School.
On the girl’s side, Saharra McKinney from Cloudland was picked to be a part of the East girl’s team which will be coached by former Daniel Boone head coach Travis Maines.
The girl’s game will begin at 6:30 pm.
