The following arrests have been reported by the Carter County Sheriff’s Office:

Jacob Carr, 20, 612 S. Lynn Ave., Elizabethton, was arrested on March 12 by Sgt. Brian McGinnis on a warrant for violation of probation.

Justin Swiney, 33, 200 N. E Drive, Elizabethton, was arrested on March 12 by Sgt. Brian McGinnis on a warrant for violation of probation.

Jeffery Miller, 28, 125 Hankel Road, Gray, was arrested on March 12 by Deputy Steve Tipton for assault.

Jack Johnson, 32, 5 Bristol Court, Johnson City, was arrested on March 12 by Deputy Steve Tipton for assault.

Daniel Hensley, 45, 661 Round Knob Road, Greeneville, was arrested on March 12 by Deputy Jared Cook on warrants for driving on revoked (second offense), vehicular assault, DUI (third offense), failure to exercise due care, possession of Schedule I, possession of Schedule IV, methamphetamine – manufacture, deliver, sale, possession of drug paraphernalia, open container and financial responsibility.

Jason Danner, 40, 629 First Ave., Hampton, was arrested on March 16 by Deputy Cody Farley for violation of probation.

Amanda Salyers, 39, 1550 Lake Cunningham Road, Greer, S.C., was arrested on March 16 by Deputy Justin Johnson on warrants for violation of probation.

Hunter Peters, 29, address withheld, was arrested on March 17 by Deputy Robert Scott for domestic assault by intimidation, possession of a handgun while intoxicated and resisting arrest.

Chad Oliver, 41, 553 Teaberry Road, Roan Mountain, was arrested on March 17 by Deputy Michael Gray on a warrant for failure to appear.

Thomas Cox, 37, 116 Marlow Lane, Hampton, was arrested on March 17 by Sgt. William Staschak on a warrant for violation of bond supervision and a warrant for failure to appear.

The following arrests have been reported by the Elizabethton Police Department:

John Taylor, 28, 309 Stonewall Jackson Drive, Elizabethton, was arrested on March 16 by EPD Officer Chazz Hughes for DUI and driver to exercise due care.
