New guidelines… Trustee office conducting business just a little different

Carter County Trustee Randal Lewis states that there will be new guidelines for conducting business in the Trustee office beginning on Monday, April 6th, 2020.
The guidelines are in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
In order to conduct business with the Trustee’s Office, an appointment can be made at 423-542-1811. The office is fully staffed and will be available to the public however to comply with the CDC guidelines for Social Distancing, appointments will be necessary to conduct business in the office.
The office hours for employees are 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday and you may call for help and information or email the office at trustee@cartercountytn.gov. The office will be closed Friday, April 10, 2020, in observance of Good Friday.
Payments may be mailed to 801 Elk Avenue, Elizabethton, Tennessee 37643. In addition, payments can be made online at www.trustee.carter.tennesseetrustee.com or by phone at 1-877-768-5048. 
Payments should be made by check, money order, or online. If you need to know how much the payment should be, please call the office before mailing payments.
Lewis went on to add, ” We are sorry for any inconvenience and will assist our Taxpayers in any way possible. Thank you for your consideration at this time.”
