Tax relief deadline extended

Randall Lewis, Carter County Trustee, wanted to make county taxpayers aware that the Carter County 2019 Tax Relief deadline has been extended by the Comptroller of Tennessee office to July 1, 2020.
Lewis stated that if taxpayers who were going to use their 2019 voucher have not done so or if a taxpayer would like to apply for Property Tax Relief, they need to call the Trustee office at 423-542-1811.
