COVID-19 cases in Tennessee increase by 1,156 cases

The total number of COVID-19 cases in Tennessee has increased by 1,156 cases as we enter the month of May.
The total number of confirmed cases reached 11,891 on May 1. There are now 5,546 recovered patients.
The number of deaths is now being listed as 204, with 1,113 hospitalizations.
A total of 186,132 tests have been conducted in the state as of now.
For Carter County, there have now been 13 confirmed cases. 10 cases are recovered, and one has died.
During this time, it is highly recommended that you continue practicing proper hygiene, including hand washing for a minimum of 20 seconds, and follow social distancing guidelines.
