COVID-19 cases in Tennessee approach 14,000

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Tennessee is now 13,938 as of May 6. There are now 6,564 recovered patients.
The number of deaths is now being listed as 239, with 1,221 hospitalizations.
A total of 227,101 tests have been conducted in the state as of now.
For Carter County, there have now been 16 confirmed cases. 13 cases are recovered, and one has died.
During this time, it is highly recommended that you continue practicing proper hygiene, including hand washing for a minimum of 20 seconds, and follow social distancing guidelines.
