COVID-19 cases top 16,000 in Tennessee

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Tennessee is now 16,111 as of May 12. There are now 8,336 recovered patients.
The number of deaths is now being listed as 265, with 1,363 hospitalizations.
A total of 273,277 tests have been conducted in the state as of now.
For Carter County, there have now been 18 confirmed cases. 14 cases are recovered, and one has died.
During this time, it is highly recommended that you continue practicing proper hygiene, including hand washing for a minimum of 20 seconds, and follow social distancing guidelines.
