There is a new comet in the sky till around the end of the month. Comet Neowise was discovered March 27, and is named after the decade-old satellite, the Near-Earth Object Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer, that first captured whereabouts. To find it head out after sunset around 9:30 PM, look to the northwest. Find the Big Dipper and look below it near the horizon. It’s best seen if you’re away from city lights. So head out, find a nice dark place, and enjoy the celestial fireworks display.

Everywhere one looks, there is beauty all around.
From animals like dogs and cats that bring so much joy to even those critters that slither on the ground, its amazing to see the different varieties that surround us on a daily basis.
Then there are the gorgeous, aromatic flowers and tasty fruits that are common during the summer months. And let us not forget the skies above as the stars, moon, and comets like Neowise flood the darkness of night.
Star Photographer Larry Souders was out this week and captured just some of the beauty of nature that is present for everyone to enjoy.
