Mobile home fire results in interior damage

A call was received by the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Department on Thursday after to a mobile home fire in front of Blue Springs Christian Church on Blue Springs Road.
When the department arrived smoke was coming from the mobile home and additional backup was requested from the Hampton and Watauga Volunteer Fire Departments.
By the time both units had arrived, the Stoney Creek Fire Department had the call under control as the mobile home suffered interior damages from the fire.
The Carter County Sheriff’s Department also responded for traffic control and to aid at the scene.
