Coach Ned Smith’s Hampton Bulldogs were in rare form last night as the ‘Dogs were running the floor like a bunch of greyhounds chasing a rabbit against the Happy Valley Warriors.

Hampton took advantage of that up and down the court formula to craft a 65-33 victory with the ‘Dogs scoring as many in the first half as the Warriors did for the entire game.

Once again it was a total team effort offensively for the ‘Dogs as 12 players found a way to log at least one point in the contest.

Colby Jones showed the way for the Bulldogs with 11 points in the contest with teammate Michael Harrison nipping at his heels scoring 10 points.

Conor Burleson and Morgan Lyons scored eight points each as they used their size and athletic ability to rule the offensive boards for putback points.

Other Bulldogs who scored were Parker Henry (6), Joseph Jenkins (2), Cadon Buckles (5), Dalton Holtsclaw (2), Logan Whitehead (4), Isaiah McCoury (3), Garrett Vines (4), and Hayden Campbell (2).

Blake Young scored 12 points in the contest to lead the Warriors. Alex Lunceford dropped in nine points as well for Coach Jeremy Maddox’s tribe.

Landon Babb (6), Andrew Clawson (4), and Andrew Little (2) closed out the scoring for Happy Valley.
