The City of Elizabethton announced on Monday that Summers-Taylor was scheduled to begin resurfacing and ancillary construction work on Tuesday, March 30, at 7:30 a.m. 

The street resurfacing project may cause intermittent delays on the following streets in the Eastside and Westside communities of Elizabethton: Central Avenue, Burgie Street, Parkway Boulevard (“G” Street to Jordan Road), Riverview Drive (Siam Road to Charity Hill Road), Walker Street, Nave Street, Pearl Street, and Sunset Avenue.

Construction is expected to be completed within two weeks. 

Please use caution when driving in work zones.
