The Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Elizabethton hosted a joint ribbon cutting for Red Legacy Recovery on Friday to welcome them to their new location in downtown Elizabethton.
Red Legacy Recovery is an all-women’s recovery organization, serving hundreds of women each year throughout eight counties of Northeast Tennessee.
They provide women with skills to cope, transportation for medication and assisted treatment interventions, programs, meals, employment help, recovery groups, and more.
“Red Legacy Recovery has served women in Carter County for nearly a decade, and we could not be more excited to bring our program into downtown Elizabethton,” said Executive Director Samantha Loveday.
“We are thrilled to see the expansion of Red Legacy’s location and services provided to our community,” said Chamber Director Joy McCray.
“We are so excited to have Red Legacy Recovery in Downtown Elizabethton,” said Main Street Director Courtney Bean. “They are such a wonderful asset to our community. Their new space is a beautiful addition as we continue to grow and elevate our downtown.”
Red Legacy Recovery’s new location is 409 E. Elk Avenue in downtown Elizabethton.
