FROM STAFF REPORTS

A single-car accident in the 3000 block of Siam Road around 4:15 p.m. blocked traffic in both directions for almost an hour.

The vehicle struck a utility pole at what appears to have been a high rate of speed, causing the pole to snap in both a low and high location. The pole will have to be replaced at a future date.
