The GFWC Elizabethton Woman’s Craft Show is back after a year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The craft show, which is in its 110th year, will be held at the Elizabethton Parks and Recreation Building Nov. 12 and 13 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
“We have 54 vendors lined up for this year’s show with a variety of arts and crafts — all homemade. The arts and crafts show is one of our biggest events and fundraisers,” said Lilo Duncan, who is heading up the event.
She said the show will be in compliance with the Elizabethton Health Department for COVID. Masks are not required, but highly recommended. There will also be food available at the show.
Admission to the show is free.
The Elizabethton Woman’s Club is a world-wide organization that does many things for the community, among which are a yearly scholarship to a graduating senior from one of the five local high schools. The club contributes to the annual Christmas lights downtown each year, makes “Leave A Note” pouches for local nursing homes, and contributes to several local organizations.
Duncan said the event is a good place to do your Christmas shopping each year or to find holiday decor for your home.
