• Saturday, November 20
Boozy Creek Community Center, 1989 Shelleys Road, Bristol, Va., will hold a Thanksgiving meal at 4 p.m. The meal will be served with turkey, ham, lots of sides, homemade desserts and drinks. Practices used in restaurant facilities all over the area will be followed. Food will be dispensed by servers wearing masks and gloves. Should you prefer, plastic gloves and masks will be available. Distancing and precautions are encouraged, but not mandated. Just use good judgment. Music will be provided by “Boozy Creek Grass.” For more information, call (423) 323-5266.

Roan Mountain Lodge #566 F.&A.M. will meet in stated communication at 312 West St., at 7 p.m. All members in good standing are encouraged to attend and visiting brethren are welcome. Social distancing guidelines will be followed 6′ rule and masks are to be worn because of rise in local COVID-19 cases. Hand sanitizer will be provided.
TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) will meet at First Baptist Church, 212 East F St., Elizabethton. Weigh-in begins at 5:30-6:30 p.m. with the meeting starting at 6:45 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend these meetings. First Baptist Church – You are invited to come and enjoy a free Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving Day at First Baptist Church Elizabethton, 212 E. F Street.
