The Unaka Lady Rangers jumped out to a 26-24 advantage at the break and refused to give an inch in taking down the home-standing Daniel Boone Lady Blazers in roundball action Tuesday.

When the final horn sounded, the ladies from Stoney Creek boarded the bus with a 58-52 non-conference win.

Coach Ken Chambers’s team hit seven treys in the first 16 minutes of action to gain the slight lead at the intermission. Macy Ensor and Lyndie Ramsey both drained a pair from beyond the arc with Julie Simerly, Alisha Harrell, and Kiki Forney collecting one each.
