The suspect in a weekend shooting on Dave Buck Road has been captured, according to the Carter County Sheriff Department’s web page.

Elijah Adam Taylor, 37, was wanted in connection with the Saturday night shooting that sent one victim to the hospital.

Taylor was arrested in Granite Falls, N.C., by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday after being placed on the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Most Wanted list.

He will be extradited back to Carter County where he faces charges of two counts of attempted murder from the incident.
