LEESBURG, Fla. – The King University bass fishing team had two teams compete at the spring opener on Harris Chain of Lakes. The tandem of Landon Lawson and Hunter McClaskey led the way for the Tornado.

KING RESULTS: 55th and 79th of 189 boats
LOCATION: Harris Chain of Lakes; Leesburg, Fla.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Lawson and McClaskey reeled in five fish for a total of 11 pounds to finish 55th.

The duo of Tyler Altizer and Dylan Thomson finished 79th as they weighed in five fish for a total of nine pounds and 11 ounces.
FOR THE FOES

The winning tandem, Seth Jenkins and TJ McKenzie of Emmanuel College weighed in five fish for a total of 25 pounds, 14 ounces.
