The Unaka Lady Rangers were looking to continue to prepare for post-season play as they played host to the West Greene Lady Buffaloes on Monday evening.
Behind another 20-point effort from guard Lyndie Ramsey, the Lady Rangers easily rounded up the Lady Buffaloes for another victory on the season, 63-38.
Jumping out to an 18-9 lead after one and 33-19 at the half, the Lady Rangers were in full control of the game from the opening tip.
Kiki Forney scored eight of her 10 points in the first half to get Unaka off to a good start. Julie Simerly and Macy Ensor knocked down six apiece in the first 16 minutes of play while Ramsey and Mailey Guy totaled five points apiece in the first half. Tara Whitehead also tallied a trey.
The second half was a replay of the first as Unaka outscored their visitors 30-20 to take the easy win.
Ramsey dropped 10 of her 15 second-half points in the third period alone to help make sure Unaka’s outcome was secure.
Nine Lady Rangers found the scoring column in the win.
West Greene was led in scoring by Taylor Lawson with 10 points.
