A new Harbor Freight store will bring 25 to 30 new jobs to Elizabethton.
That announcement was made on Tuesday as hiring will begin to fill positions immediately. The store is expected to open in the spring of 2022 and will release an official opening date closer to the time of opening. Interested applicants can apply online at www.harborfreightjobs.com/retail and search “Elizabethton, TN”.
Construction has already begun at the 791 W. Elk Ave. location, using local workers and companies from the surrounding Elizabethton area.
“We’ve been looking to open a location in Elizabethton for a number of years so that we can provide the tools and
equipment at tremendous values to the community,” said Trey Feiler, senior vice president, Real Estate and Construction
for Harbor Freight Tools. “In addition to finding a great location, we were attracted by the availability of great associates
in the Elizabethton area, and we look forward to having them join the Harbor Freight team.”
The business, which promotes itself as America’s go-to store for quality tools at the lowest prices, will be looking to hire Sales and Logistic Supervisors, Senior Associates, Sales Associates, and seasonal opportunities as well.
