Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
FROM STAFF REPORTS
The Elizabethton-Carter County Boys and Girls Club recently conducted their Skills and Drills for five and six-year-olds which turned out to be a tremendous success.
Over 45 players came in each Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. where they did station work and then joined their teams for 3-on-3 games.
Recreation Director Rik Anderson was grateful for those who worked the stations. Those workers were Tony Hardin, Matt Lewis, Carrie Reed, Cara Bowling, Matt Kuivinen, and Anderson.
At each station, the attendees were taught basketball fundamentals.
Anderson said plans are in the work to expand to another age division in 2023.
