FROM STAFF REPORTS
Roan Mountain is less one large, black bear as a vehicle struck and killed the animal along Highway 19-E in Roan Mountain near the recycling center during the overnight hours.
The TWRA was called to come and remove the bear from its location.
No reports of injuries or damage had been received as of Friday morning.
