Covered Bridge Bluegrass Jamboree returns June 11 to Covered Bridge Jams with one of the top bluegrass groups on tour.

Bluegrass superstars Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out will be taking the stage along with Trinity Valley Travelers, a local band who are a crowd-pleaser as well.

Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out has been one of the hottest groups in bluegrass music for over 30 years making several appearances on the Grand Ole Opry and winning many IMBA Vocal Group of the Year awards as well as six Male Vocalist of the Year awards along with numerous other accolades.

“We are extremely excited about this year’s Bluegrass Jamboree and hope that everyone in the community and those in our surrounding areas will come out and enjoy some awesome music in a beautiful setting,” said David Nanney, Recreation Manager for the Elizabethton Parks and Recreation. “We are truly delighted to bring this special musical event that showcases an internationally known artist, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, and the beauty of our historic Covered Bridge Park and downtown Elizabethton.”
