Agriculture Day celebrated at Hampton High School

Star Photo/Brandon Hyde Agriculture Day was celebrated at Hampton High School on Tuesday morning as elementary children were able to interact with farm animals and look closer at farm equipment.

Hampton Elementary students were able to get an up-close look at tractors and livestock as part of Tuesday morning’s Agriculture Day celebration.
The day was sponsored by West Hills Tractor who provided a tractor and East TN ATV who provided a baler.
Hampton Ag teacher Seth Clawson and Counselor Allison Glover pulled the event together to give the children a closer look to some familiar animals and equipment utilized in local agriculture.
Overcast skies couldn’t take away the enthusiasm shown by the children to be able to pet goats, a cow, and a horse during the event.
