Each third Sunday of the month from May through August, Art in the Park will be celebrated at various Elizabethton parks.
Sunday, Art in the Park will be celebrated at Kiwanis Park in West End (at the intersection of W. G Street and Carter Blvd.)
The event is for amateurs of all ages to gather together and create art including visual, musical, literary and dance. Supplies will be provided or feel free to bring along work to complete.
Sponsored by the Elizabethton Parks & Recreation Department, the event is designed to bring the community together to celebrate and create art. Last month’s event was held at Walter Curtis Park and the July event will be held at Douglas Park beside the Elizabethton City Schools Administrative Offices. The August event will be held at the Cat Island Park.
